The lengths of two parallel sides of a quadrilateral land are 40 meters and 50 meters respectively and

Distance between them ,h = 25m

From the given statement its seems that the land are in the shape of trapezium . So we have to calculate the area of trapezium .

•Area = 1/2 (sum of parallel side) × height

Substitute the value we get

⟹ Area = 1/2(40+50) × 25

⟹ Area = 1/2(90) × 25

⟹ Area = 1/2×90×25

⟹ Area = 45 × 25

⟹ Area = 1125m²

Hence, the area of land is 1125m².
