p( x ) = 7x - 3

To find zero of polynomial we have to

take p( x ) = 0

p( x ) = 0

7x - 3 = 0

7x = 3

x = 3/7

option ( b ) is correct.

P(x) = 7x -3

= 7 (x-3/7)

Now
P(3/7) = 7( 3/7 - 3/7)

=7 (0)

= 0

Hence 3/7 is a zero of P(x)
