The lithosphere is a thin and hot crust of substrate rock which can even flow. The lithospheric plate move due to the convection process in the mantle. As it moves toward another, it gets hit by another and submerged beneath the comparative heavy plate. While it moves it gets hit and the earthquake occurs. As the convection current is regular, it moves frequently so, often it faces earthquakes.
