Step-by-step explanation:

I have drawn a diagram to make it simple

now here we calculate the value of OS

at first

as it is given that there is a circle which has two tangents .

the two tangents are making 60° angle

now as we know that tangents always form rectangle at the circle

so now in triangle ORS the

angle OSR is 30°

cos 30° = RS/OS

1/2 = 30/OS

OS = 60 cm

Answer:

it should have been Sin 30 because Cos 30 is root3/2
