The loess hills of iowa are a great example for Saltation.

EXPLANATION:

The loess hills are being formed as a result of transportation of the sediments. Those sediments were formed because of glacial flour. It was deposited on the flood plain thus creating mud flats and when it became dry, turbulent flow of strong wind deposited the loess soil which was in the form of fine grained slits over the western parts of iowa.
