The luster of the surface of the aluminum utensils in the house is lost after a few days. Why dose this happen?​

ANSWER~ Aluminium has a great affinity for oxygen ( means Aluminium has a great love for oxygen due to its structure ) so it binds with atmospheric oxygen and a coating of oxygen develops on its surface ! Hence it loses its lustre!
