Solution :-

Let, Income of Ramesh is Rs.7x and suresh is Rs.5x , also, expenditure of ramesh and suresh are Rs.3y and Rs.2y respectively .

so,

→ Income - Expenditure = saving

→ (7x - 3y)/(5x - 2y) = 11/9

→ 63x - 27y = 55x - 22y

→ 63x - 55x = 27y - 22y

→ 8x = 5y

→ y = (8x/5)

also,

→ combined saving = Rs.10000 .

→ (7x - 3y) + (5x - 2y) = 10000

→ 7x + 5x - 3y - 2y = 10000

→ 12x - 5y = 10000

putting value of y,

→ 12x - 5(8x/5) = 10000

→ 4x = 10000

→ x = 2500

therefore,

→ Ramesh annual income = 7x = 2500 * 7 = Rs.1,75,000 (Ans.)
