What is magnification?
→The ratio of size of image to ratio of size of object is called magnification.
Given,
The magnification produced by a convex lena is -2.
Lets find out the information it give :-
1.) The image is real.
→Real image is inverted and formed below principal axis. -ve sign shows it is real image.
2)The image is inverted.
→Real image is always inverted.
3)The image is of double size the object.
→The image formed is twice the size of image as the ratio of image to ratio of object size is 2:1
