The February Revolution, which removed Tsar Nicholas II from power, developed spontaneously out of a series of increasingly violent demonstrations and riots on the streets of Petrograd (present-day St. Petersburg), during a time when the tsar was away from the capital visiting troops on the World War I front.

The February and October revolution are the events that marked Russian Revolution.

1. After February revolution Tsar Nicholas was abdicated
2. The Duma leaders and Soviet leaders formed the Provisional government.
3. Soon Lenin returned in Russia after his exile.
4. He demanded three things
5. Banks to be nationalised, land to be transferred to presents and war to be brought to an end.
6. Soon there was Fight between Provisional Government and the Bolsheviks whose leader was Vledmir lenin.
7. After October Revolution all political parties were banned. One party was made that is the secret police party to crush the opponent
