Considering that the least count of the Vernier Caliper is 0.01 mm.

The Diameter of the ball is = (Main scale reading + least count * Coincident scale reading)

                                            =(7 cm + (0.01 mm * 6))

                                            =7.006 cm

Therefore,

The Radius of the ball is 3.503 cm. We get the radius by dividing the diameter by two.

Answer:

msr=7 cm

VC=6

LC=0.01 cm

diameter=(7 cm + (0.01 cm* 6))

                                           =7.06 cm

radius=7.06/2

         =3.53 cm
