Hi ,
It is given that ,
marked price of a book ( MP ) = Rs 225
discount ( d ) = 10%
selling price = s.p = ?
s.p = MP ( 100 - d )/100
= 225 ( 100 - 10 )/100
= 225 × ( 90/100 )
= Rs 202.50
Therefore ,
Selling price of the book = Rs 202.50
I hope this helps you.
