Price of the book= ₹ 225

Discount = 10%

i.e. , 225 / 10= ₹ 22.5

Selling price = ( 225 - 22.5)

The selling price is = ₹ 202.5

hope this help you.......,

Hi ,

It is given that ,

marked price of a book ( MP ) = Rs 225

discount ( d ) = 10%

selling price = s.p = ?

s.p = MP ( 100 - d )/100

= 225 ( 100 - 10 )/100

= 225 × ( 90/100 )

= Rs 202.50

Therefore ,

Selling price of the book = Rs 202.50

I hope this helps you.
