Answer:

1. √ 45 ⁄ 125

√ 5x9 ⁄ 5x25

Striking common 5 from denominator and numerator

√ 9 ⁄ 25

√ 3x3 ⁄ 5x5

Soving

= 3/5

2.Marked price of a book = N2500

Discount = 10% of 2500

= 250

Book was given for = 2500-250=2250

2500 was paid on the book.

Answer:

{ \huge \fbox \pink {A}\fbox \blue {n} \fbox \purple {s} \fbox \green{w} \fbox \red {e} \fbox \orange {r}}

Suppose the Marked price is 100 minus discount 10%

Sell Price (SP)= 100–10 = 90

Gain% = 20%

we know SP = {(100+Gain%)/100} x CP (Cost price)

So, CP = SP/{(100+Gain%)/100}

putting the values

CP = 90/1.2

CP = 75

Now, discount is 15% so SP = 100–15 = 85

Gain = 85–75

Gain = 10

Gain% = (Gain x 100)/CP

So, Gain% = (1000/75) =13.33%
