ANSWER

SOLUTION: HERE, M.P. OF THE ARTICLE= rs.3500. G.S.T.=12%

G.S.T. AMOUNT= 12% of 3500

= 12/100×3500

=Rs.420

hence, total amount paid= Rs.(3500+ 420)

= Rs.3920

NOW, A/C TO QUESTION,

WE HAVE,

M.P. OF ARTICLE= Rs.3500

DISCOUNT= 20%

DISCOUNT = 20% OF Rs. 3500

= 20/100×3500

= Rs.700

HENCE, S.P. OF THE T.V.= M.P. - Discount

= Rs.3500 - Rs. 700

=Rs.2800

PROFIT =10%

C.P.=100×S.P./100+PROFIT%

=Rs. 100 × 2600

100 + 10

= Rs. 100× 2800. = Rs.

110
