1 mole of CO2 = 22.4 litres
CO2 = 44 g

therefore,
22.4 liter = 44 g of CO2
2.8 liter = 44 x 2.8 / 22.4
             = 44 / 8
             = 5.5 g of CO2

Therefore, the mass of 2.8 liters of CO2 is 5.5 g
