The mass of a density bottle is 25 g when empty, 50 g when filled completely with water and 36.5 g when filled completely filled with liquid X. Find the density of liquid X. ​

density = mass/ volume

mass of empty bottle=25g

mass of bottle filled with water=50g

mass of liquid =25g

volume of liquid=25ml

volume of mercury=25ml

mass of mercury=365−25=340g

density of mercury=340/25=13.6 g/cm3
