the mass of a goods trucks is 4000 kg and mass of goods loaded is 2000 kg.if the truck is moving with a velocity of 40km/h.what will be its momentum??

Given : m 1

=4000 kgm 2

=20000 kg v=2 m/s

Total mass of the 'lorry + goods' system M=4000+20000=24000 kg

∴ Total momentum of the system P=Mv=24000×2=48000 kg m/s.
