The kinetic energy of a moving object is given by:

1/2mv ^ 2 .

Therefore, if the mass of horse 12 times the mass of dog, then the kinetic energy of the horse will be 12 times the kinetic energy of the dog.

Hence, the ratio of the kinetic energies of the horse and the dog is 12:1.

KE of horse =5*v*v/2

KE of dog =4*v*v /2

KE OF HORSE. 5
