The maximum speed of a train is 80 kilometre per hour it takes 10 hours to cover a distance of 400 km .Find the ratio of its maximum speed to its average speed.​

average speed =total distance /total time

=(400/10)km/h

=40km/h

Maximum speed =80km/h

and now ratio between maximum speed and average speed is

=maximun speed /average speed

=80/ 40

=1ratio 2
