First of all, see the attached FREE BODY DIAGRAM !

  • When the money B is being pulled up by monkey A (and tail doesn't tear), let's assume that they have common acceleration 'a'.

So, monkey B will also experience pseudo-force downwards, such that :

 \rm F_{tail} = m_{B}(g + a)

 \rm \implies 200= 5(10 + a)

 \rm \implies a = 30 \: m {s}^{ - 2}

Now, 30 m/s² is the max value of acceleration after which the tail will break. So, the force monkey A has to pull on rope is :

 \rm F_{A}=(m_{A}+m_{B})\times(g+a)

 \rm  \implies F_{A}=(20 + 5)\times(10 + 30)

 \rm  \implies F_{A}=25\times40

 \rm  \implies F_{A}=1000 \: N

So, force with which Monkey A has to pull is 1000 N.
