Given :

mean age of five children is 12 years.

age of four of them are 13 , 16 , 11 and 6 years.

Let age of fifth children is X

Mean of age

= sum of age of childrens / no. of childrens

=> 12 = ( 13 + 16 + 11 + 6 + X ) / 5

=> 60 = 46 X

=> X = 60 / 46 = 1.30 years
