The mean mass of six biscuits is 23 g. The masses of five of the biscuits are : 20g, 19g, 25g, 23g, and 24g. Work out the mass of the sixth biscuit.

deviations from mean = -3-4+2+0+1 /6

=-4 /6 = -0.66

6th biscuit mass =23-.66= 22.33
