that means :- p = (p1 + p2 ....+p10)/10

each item is decreased by 3 then :-

p = (p1/3 + p2/3 ...+p10/3)/10

= (p1 + p2..+p10)/ 3 × 10

3p = (p1 + p2..+p10)/ 3 × 10

mean will be decrease by 3
