8 = x1+ x2......x10 /10 .......... equation 1

Since every number is multipled by 11 the new mean becomes !

= 11.x1 +11.x2.....11.x10 /10

= 11( x1+ x2 ....x10) / 10

using equation 1

= 11×8

Hence new mean = 88
