ruchishah89: means we have 15 obv. and subtracted 2 from each so total subtracted is 30 and 15×2 so total sum becomes 120
ruchishah89: amd obs . is 10 so mean is 12
aditya608547: 15*2 =30 how is 120 sorry i am asking

If 2 is subtracted from each observation, then the mean is also subtracted by 2. So the new mean is 8.
