Answer:-

Given:

Mean age of 25 students in a class = 12 years.

We know that,

Mean = Sum of observations/Number of observations.

Let the sum of the ages of all the children be x years.

→ x/25 = 12

→ x = 300 years.

And,

If the teacher's age is included the mean is increased by 1.

→ (300 + teacher's age)/(25 + 1) = 12 + 1

→ (300 + teacher's age) = 26*13

→ 300 + teacher's age = 338

→ teacher's age = 338 - 300

Teacher's age = 38 years.
