the mean of 5 numbers is 27 if one of the numbers is excluded there mean gets reduced by 2 what is the excluded number

Sum of observation/No. of observation=Mean

Therefore sum/5=27
and sum/4=25

This sum=135
and new sum=100
So difference=35

thus excluded no. is 35
