the mean of 5 numbers is a 22 if the number is included then find the mean of new set of number becomes 24 find the included number​

(a1 + a2 + a3 + a4 + a5)/5 =22
a1 +………… +a5 = 22*5
a1....a5 = 110

When one no. is included in the set............
(a1 + a2 + a3 + a4 + a5 + a6)/6 = 24
a1 + a2..........a6 = 24*6
a1 + a2..........a6 = 144
a1.......a5 + a6 =144
110 + a6 =144
a6 = 144-110
a6 =44


Therefore the included no. is 44
