Hey Buddy

Here is the Answer

--------------------------------------

How to find mean

=> mean = sum of num/total num

Given

mean of a, b, c, d and e is 22

So,

(a+b+c+d+e)/5 = 22

a+b+c+d+e = 22 × 5

a+b+c+d+e = 110_____(1)

also Given

mean of a, c and e is 24

so,

(a+c+e)/3 = 24

a+c+e = 24 × 3

a+c+e = 72_____(2)

Now , by (1) - (2)

b+d = 110 - 72

b+d = 38

Now to find mean of b and d

mean = b + d / 2

mean = 38 /2

mean = 19

HOPE HELPED

PEACE

GIVEN IN THE QUESTION:- THE MEAN OF a,b,c,d and e =22. ALSO, a,c,e=24.

TO FIND:- b,d

=> WE KNOW MEAN = SUM OF GIVEN NUMBERS/TOTAL NUMBER GIVEN.

=>a+b+c+d+e/5 =22

=>a+b+c+d+e=110......(1)

ALSO,

a+c+e/3=24

=>a+c+e=72.............(2)

FROM EQUATION 1 AND 2 WE GET,

=>b+d=110-72

=>b+d=38.

A/Q,

MEAN OF b+d

=>38/2

=>19.

HENCE, REQUIRED MEAN IS 19.
