In a Poisson distribution

mean = variance

variance = 2.25

S.D
 =  \sqrt{2.25}  \\  = 1.5

The other constants mainly standard deviation is 1.5

Given

Mean of Poisson distribution is 2.25

To Find

We need to find other constants of distribution

Solution

The formula for the mean of binomial distribution is: μ =  n × p.

 “n” is the number of trials

“p” is the probability of success

.

mean μ   = n × p = ∧

         ∧ = 2.25

The standard deviation is equal to the square-root of the mean

Standard deviation  =  √∧

S.D = √ 2.25 = 1.5

Hence the standard deviation  =  1.5
