the mean of the heights of 6 girls is 148 cm. if the individual heights of 5 of them are142cm,154cm,146cm,145cm and 150cm,find the heights of the sixth girl.

Mean =(sum of observations)/total number of observations.
let the height of 6th girl be x.
according to question-
mean=148   total no. of observations=6 
 sum of total observations=142+154+146+145+150+x=732

148=(732+x)/6
x=(148*6)-732
x=156
