The mean temperature for the first 7 days in January was 6 °C. The temperature on the 8th day was 1 °C. What is the mean temperature for the first 8 days in January?

5.375

42 degrees in toal for first 7 days. The rest is easy, 42 + 1 = 43

43 divided by 8 is 5.375
