Mean wage of 200 male reporters in a media industry = Rs. 150/day

Number of male reporters = 200

We know that Mean = Sum of the observations/Number of the observations

=> Sum of the observations = Mean * Number of observations

So  Total sum of wages of male reporters = Mean wage of 200 male reporters in a media industry * Number of male reporters

=  150 * 200

= 30000

Total sum of wages of male reporters = Rs. 30000

Mean wage of 130 female reporters in a media industry = Rs. 95/day

Number of female reporters = 130

We know that Mean = Sum of the observations/Number of the observations

=> Sum of the observations = Mean * Number of observations

So  Total sum of wages of female reporters = Mean wage of 130 female reporters in a media industry * Number of female reporters

=  95 * 130

= 12350

Total sum of wages of male reporters = Rs. 12350

Total sum of wages of male and female reporter in a media industry = 30000 + 12350 = Rs. 42350

Total number of reporters in media industry = 200 + 130 = 330

We know that Mean = Sum of the observations/Number of observations

Combine mean = Total sum of wages of male and female reporter in a media industry/Total number of reporters in media industry

= 42350/330

= 128.333.......

So Rs.128.33.... / day would be the combine mean of the reporters.
