The mean weight of the 4 members of a family is 60 kg. Three of them have the weight 50kg,68kg,and 72kg. Find the weight of the fourth number.

50+68+72+x=60*4
190+x=240
x=240-190
x=50kg

Given mean weight=60
GIVEN WEIGHT
1st person=50 kg
2nd person=68kg
3rd person=72 kg
4th person=x kg

Now we know ,mean=
 \frac{sum \: of \: observation}{number \: of \: observation}
Then,50+68+72+x/4=60
=190+x=60×4
x=240-190
x=50

So, weight of 4 th person is 50 kg
