Encounter hypothesis---- It is the earliest theories postulated for the initial formation of the planets. This hypothesis has the advantage of describing why the planets all revolve in the same direction. It applies from the encounter geometry. It also explains why the inner worlds are denser than the outer worlds.

Hope it helps!!!
