Therefore,supplement=180°-×
complement=90°-x

x=90°-x+x=40°
x=90°=40°
x=90°-40°
x=50°
Also,

x=180°-x-x=70°
x=180°-2x=70°
x= -2x=70°-180°
-2x+x=-110°
-x=-110°
x=110°
