To Find: the measure of the angle and its supplement

Solution:

Let say measure of the angle = x

Then measure of   angle's supplement is  x - 76°

Angles are supplementary if their  measures adds up to 180°

Hence x + x - 76° = 180°

=> 2x = 256°

=> x = 128°

x - 76° = 128° - 76°  = 52°

Hence angle is 128°

and its supplement = 52°
