Let the angles are x and y

So x = 3y

Since these angles are supplement

So

x + y = 180

Putting value of x , then

3y +y = 180

4y = 180

y= 180 / 4

y = 45.

So x = 3y

x = 3 × 45= 135.

Answer:

Let the angle be x°

And its supplement be 180°-x°

ATQ,

x=3(180°-x)

x=540°-3x

x+3x=540°

4x=540°

x=540°/4

x=135°

Therefore the angle is 135 and anothere angle is 180°-135°=45°
