Let the length be 11x and breadth be 10x

Area of rectangle =length * breadth

3960=11x*10x

3960/110=x²

36=x²

√36=6=x

Then, length=11*6=66m

And breadth =10*6=60m

Therefore we can write Length = 11x and Breadth = 10x

We know, Area = Length × Breadth

3960 = 11x × 10x
$110 x^{2} = 3960$
$x^{2} = \frac{3960}{110}$
$x^{2} = 36$
[tex]x = \sqrt{36} [/tex]
$x = 6$

Thus Length = 11x = 11 × 6 = 66m
And Breadth = 10x = 10 × 6 = 60m
