(2x+17)° + (x+13)° = 180°
3x + 30° = 180°
3x = 180°-30°
3x = 150°
x = 50°

Sum of supplementary angles = 180⁰

(2x + 17) + (x + 13) = 180⁰

3x + 30 = 180⁰

3x = 150⁰

x = 50⁰

2x + 17 = 100 + 17 = 117⁰
