number of terms in the data = n =10(even)
median = average of( n/2 and n/2 +1) term
=average of (10/2 ,10/2 +1)th term
=average(5th and 6th ) terms
=(x+x+2)/2
=(2x+2)/2
=2(x+1)/2
=x+1----(1)
given median =63----(2)
(1)=(2)
x+1=63
x=63-1
x=62

[(10/2)th + (10/2 +1)th ]/2=63
(5th + 6th )/2 = 63
x +(x + 2) /2 =63
2x + 2= 126
2x = 124
x = 62
