The medulla (or medulla oblongata) contains centre which control respiration, cardiovascular reflexes, and gastric secretions are related to Hindbrain .

Hindbrain is lowest part of brain stem, which form connections between brain and spinal cord. Hindbrain is third major part of the brain (Brain is central information processing organ). They are located at the lower back part of the brain.

Hindbrain comprises of three parts :-

Pons convey information about sensation, eye movement, hearing, etc. They are located above the medulla oblongata .

Cerebellum helps in coordination, balancing, speech, movement, etc. It is located back of the brain .

Medulla oblongata (Medulla) control respiration , cardiovascular reflexes , and gastric secretions. Medulla is connected to the spinal cord .
