hence,
r= minutes in hand=3cm long
so degree complete in 1 min =360/60=6
so degree complete in 40 min=6x40=240
hence theta=240
radian measure =π/180 X 240
=4π/3
......Now putting the values
l=r X theta
=3 X 4π/3
=4π=4 X 3.14
l=12.56cm
hence,
