The minute hand of a table clock is 5 cm long. Find the average velocity of
the tip of the minute hand between 3.00 pm and 3.30 pm.​

Length of minute hand r=5 cm

In 30 minutes, the tip of minute hand reaches diametrically opposite end of the clock.

Thus displacement of tip of minute hand d=2r=8 cm

Time taken t=30 min=30×60=1800 s
