according to the poem 'mirror' moon ligjt and candle light are called liars.in their light the woman cannot see the spots, scars and wrinkles on her face and thinks she is beautiful.but the reality is shown by the mirror . it shows the lady her real image.it tells her the truth
truth can be hard to bear but at last it seems to be good. liars like moon light keep the lady in darkness of her beauty. they motivate and encourage her that she is beautiful . but the mirror shows her the pure image. without any changes. truth is always helpful . to hide a single truth one has to lie hundreds of times. truth may seem cruel in the beginning but in the end it is always pleasing........
hope it helps......

When the woman is not very good looking or doesn't have a decent and slim figure ... People refer to moonlight or candlelight to CONSOLE them .. Because the shades of sandal falling on the face is very ARTISTICALLY BEAUTIFUL.Thus those shimmery lights deceive the woman. But the mirror hurtles the truth of reality full in her face so that even though she knows her defects ... She feels that she is not being flattered for once
