  • OB model depicts a basic framework that depicts the relationships between variables at various organizational levels.
  1. Autocratic - it is based on power, with a management approach to authority. Employees, are geared toward subservience and reliance on the boss. Subsistence is the employee need that is satisfied. The end result is a minimum performance.
  2. Custodial - It is based on economic resources with a money management perspective. Employees, are focused on job security and benefits, and their reliance on business. Employee requirement for security is addressed.
  3. Supportive - It is based on leadership with a management support focus. Employees, are focused on work performance and involvement. Status and recognition needs are also addressed.
