India is a country of villages.It has 15 lac villages. Majority of people live in them.the population of the village is increasing day by day. A modern village has a lot of shops such as vegetables markets,temples, local buses, tongas stations.etc. the people living in a village are of all the casts.they can be hindu or muslim or any other casts to.
ther is a gram panchayat to in which all the matters of the village are discussed . There is a election held after evey 5 years.the head of the village is choosen or also called sarpanch. All disputes are decided here so nobody goes to a court.
a village has drains.it must be neat and clean.all the people live with unity and co-operation. everybody is responsible for making village progress.
