  • d = 2 m

\sf\large{\red{We\:know\: that,}}

Force (F) =\sf\dfrac{Moment\:of\:force(M)}{Distance(D)}

\sf\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:=\dfrac{30}{2} = 15 N

So, a force of 15 N must be applied to the rod.
