Given Kinetic Energy = momentum ---- (i)

We know that K.E = 1/2 mv^2, Momentum = mv ----------- (ii)

Apply (ii) in (i)

= 1/2 mv^2 = mv

= 1/2 m * v * v = mv

= 1/2 v = 1

v = 2

So, the velocity of the particle i.e v = 2.

Hope this helps!

Solution:

A/Q, Kinetic energy = momentum of particle

p = m*v. (1)

k = 1/2(mv^2). (2)

From (1) and (2), we have

=> m*v = 1/2(mv^2)

=> m*v*2 = m*v*v

=> 2 = mv*v/mv

=> 2 = v

=> v = 2

Hence, the velocity is 2
