Given :-

The monthly incomes of A and B are in the ratio 5 : 4 and their monthly

expenditures are in the ratio 7:5. If each saves * 9000 per month,

To Find :-

Monthly income

Solution :-

Let the ratio be 5x and 4x

5x - 9000/4x - 9000 = 7/5

5(5x - 9000) = 7(4x - 9000)

25x - 45000 = 28x - 63000

28x - 25x = 63000 - 45000

3x = 18000

x = 18000/3

x = 6000

5x = 30000

4x = 24000

28x - 25x = 63000 - 45000

3x = 18000
