Hi there!

Given monthly salary of a typist = Rs 15,625

Percentage increase in salary = 12%

Hence, 12% of Rs 15,625 = (12/100) × 15625

=  Rs 1875

Therefore,
The new salary of the typist = Rs 15,625 + Rs 1875

= Rs 17,500

Hey friend!!!

Here's ur answer...

____________________________

Salary of the typist = ₹ 15625

Increase % = 12%

Increase in salary = 12% of 15625

 = \frac{12}{100} \times 15625 \\ \\ = 1875

So, increase in salary = ₹ 1875.

New salary = ₹ 15625 + ₹ 1875
= ₹ 17500.
